For domaines
Your list has stopped moving.
The same allocataires for years. Some resell. Some no longer drink what they receive. You know it, and you cannot reset the list without hurting someone you have known a long time.
Get in touchThe system carries the cost of saying no.
You set, tier by tier, a head start on the general opening — how many hours each receives before everyone else. Inside a window, order of arrival decides — not you.
The window does not open to the internet. For a domaine on subscription access, it opens to your subscribers — whose number you set, tier by tier.
And no one enters it without an account: every purchase is tied to a name, every order to an address.
You are no longer the one refusing anyone. The rule refuses, and you can point to it.
A bottle resurfaces.
A bottle resurfaces on a resale site. The painted code, readable with the naked eye, leads us back to the order — and the order has a name.
We give it to you. What follows is yours to decide: it is your list, not ours. We publish nothing, and we sanction no one in your name.
This does not prevent a resale. It ends the anonymity of whoever is reselling.
The painted code, explainedWe do not publish your name.
That is your condition. The public register shows your côte, a size band, your viticulture, and whether you have places open. Never your name, unless you ask us to.
Your row, as the register would show it:
| Domaine | Côte | Area | Viticulture | Access |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Name withheld | Côte de Nuits | 5–10 ha | Organic | By subscription |
Nothing else. No commune, no exact area.
One clarification, because it matters: on the public web — this page, the register, search engines — your name never appears. Inside the app, it is visible to people who have created an account. That is the exact boundary, and we would rather state it ourselves.
See the public registerWhat you set, tier by tier.
The price. How many places. How much of a head start each tier gets before the general opening, or none at all.
You keep your current allocataires — this adds to your list; it does not replace it.
On your side, on ours.
Your wine does not pass through our hands. You ship from your cellar, as you already do for your allocataires.
Your side
- The wine, shipped from your cellar.
- The price, the places, the pace of your openings.
- As with any direct sale, declaring VAT and excise duties.
- Your name — published only if you ask us to.
Our side
- Payment collection, in your name: the proceeds land in your Stripe account, and your name appears on the buyer's bank statement.
- Identifying every buyer — every order carries a name.
- Windows and reservations, under the rules you set.
- The framework for problem reports — windows, required evidence — and the Provenance Guarantee, funded from our commission.
Your wine never passes through a warehouse. It leaves from your cellar — which is what makes the Provenance Guarantee possible.
One bottle, end to end.
- The buyer pays €60
- The price you set. Our commission is never charged to them.
- The payment lands with you
- Collected into your Stripe account, not ours. Your money never passes through our hands.
- Our commission: €4.80
- 8% of your share, taken on the transaction itself. No other fees — no subscription, no minimum.
- Breakage, damage, errors
- The buyer can report breakage, damage, the wrong item or a missing item for 14 days after delivery. The report comes through us, evidence attached; the decision stays yours.
- The guarantee reserve
- Funded from our commission, at around 2% of sales. Breakage and transit damage are covered by the reserve; your own errors are your own cost.
In the traditional chain, the public price is set far from your cellar. Here, the public price is yours.
How it goes.
You write to us. Five minutes, no commitment. Pedro replies personally within 48 hours.
A conversation. No paperwork to put together. You decide whether the next step interests you — and you can leave it there.
You design your tiers. The price, the places, each tier's head start. Bank verification (Stripe) happens at this point — never before the conversation.
You open when you decide. Nothing opens without you.
In plain terms.
- You set the price of every tier, and you alone.
- You set how many places.
- You set how much of a head start each tier gets, or none.
- You remain the seller of record: the sale is made in your name, and your name is on the buyer's statement.
- We take 8% of your share — nothing from your buyer.
- Your buyer's identity is yours.
- Painted codes deter resale.
- You keep your current allocataires: this adds to your list.
- Your name appears publicly only if and when you ask us to.
What it costs
8% on sales made through Vins Vivus. Nothing else — no subscription fee, no fixed cost, no minimum.
What you keep
The price, the places, the pace of your openings, and the relationship with your buyers.
What we never do
We do not set your prices and we suggest none. We do not define your tiers. We do not touch your wine. We never publish your name unless you ask us to. And we do not decide anything on your behalf.
